today was the day i finally got around to getting JC ( jack ) from here to get his mark VIII to my shop so i could replace his driverside mirror with one i had to paint to match his car. well jack had pulled in and i could hear he had exhaust done so he gave me a little throttle check and low and behold i hear a nice little supercharger under the hood!! this car is the ultimate sleeper right down to the snowflake wheels!! jack was a very nice guy to talk to and i really enjoyed meeting him, i was very tempted to ask for a ride but i had to be in tampa right after i put his mirror on, and i didnt want to hold him up either, but he was kind enough to give all of us at the shop a nice little pair of black stripes leaving the parking lot, that was awesome jack, and the car sounds killer from behind!! thanks jack, another supercharger rubbed in my face lmao!!!!

how am i supposed to take pics this was yesterday and i was only installing a mirror, why would i have taken pics of a mirror? i didnt know the car was supercharged prior to it showing up. i had no reason to bring a camera, everyone knows what a mirror looks like!!!

here these are from denis reinhart himself.

That is the ultimate sleeper. Totally stock looking. Where can one aquire this intake boot? Does it clear the vertical AC fill line fiting? Is it rubber or plastic? What size is the opening to the conical air filter? 3" or 3 1/2"?
Im just looking into the future so i dont have to fab something up if i dont have to. Thanks.

you need to ask the owner, all i did was replace the driverside mirror lol, i know nothing about the car. his user name on here is JC send him a pm.
also it may share some of the characteristics of a turbo, but if you know anything about vortec, its far from a turbo, that is what a centrifugal supercharger looks like. it is belt driven, you cant see the belt becuase the pulley is on the back of it, between the case of the blower and the engine. plus the obvious fact that is says supercharger right on top of it!!

All i need is that plastic inlet for my supercharger. The one that came with mine is built for the Mustang. Ill send him a pm.

Thanks for the link Jeremi

That lil kit would do just perfect without having to modify the A/C charging fitting. It's the stupid AC charge nipple that goes up that sits right in the way for a straight shot over to the airbag compressor hole for the conical air filter inlet.
It would be nice if that could be cut and shortened down lower. But it probably was made that way to be sticking up like that for a reason. If its just technician ease of use for refills, then ill probably have it cut down and re braised to sit lower. Going over to that page to see what else they got.

I used that piece in one of my installs. You have to bend the a/c lines a little bit though. Ask around on mustang board, I'm sure someone has that piece for cheap, if not free. Most go with the power pipe anyway.
