WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!! aaarrgghhh.... am I pissed! When I, and everyone else, got there we all spent a lot of time as usual setting up our cars and displays and settling in. Then about 11AM or so a rumor started circulating that there was not going to be any judging. Several of us dismissed it as we figured people didn't realize there were no classes but simply a Judges Choice series of awards like every year for 16 years!

Well as it turns out they eliminated the judging this year despite the fact their newspaper ad said it was a judeged event, despite the fact that their web site and fliers said it was judged they simply decided to not tell anyone.

Now I don't mind a non judged event, there are plenty around, but I do mind working for two days getting my car ready for judging, setting up at the show for over an hour and paying $15 for nothing!

Everyone was pretty upset and the place began to empty out by noon. The Late Great Chevy club, who organized this event, will surely be "Late" very soon after this fiasco.

OK, I'm done ranting, time to go take a nap! Next week is the Flowerfield Show and that is always good.

Next year this time, instead of going to that show again, just come by and work on my car for 2 days... just so you an stay in your early routine.
