Almost got smoked by a CIVIC!!!!

my buddy damon has an 84 caravan turbo 2.5 liter and it isnt all wheel drive, they made versions in front wheel only, his is factory except some engine and trans mod's, its tan with wood grain on the side totally disgusting looking, but the van runs low 13's all day long on pump gas. the funniest thing to see is him smoke the living hell out of the front tires. as far as hond'as go max, you can never assume they are the stock little honda's you buy off the lot, my buddy adam down at my shop is a total honda junkie, this kid is hardcore into them, he is from kosovo ( spelling? ) and he has a mid 90's crx with some spoon engine japan version of the 2.0 liter in his crx. this car is insane, to hear it run will make blood trickle out of your ear, the boost is retarded in this car and how the thing doesnt explode is my question, the car makes 466 hp at the wheels. i tried messing with him one night in my lincoln and we were already around 70 mph when i punched it but i had no chance in hell, he made me look like i chucked my car into reverse. this little car runs in the high 9's low 10's in the quarter mile. i hate imports, i dont like his car at all, but i cannot deny how insane it is and i have respect for the power and speed this little terd makes, its bad no matter what you think about it, and could put a hurting on almost anything on the street that comes along side it!
 
I bet 466 in a car that probably comes in at around 2200 lbs is INSANE... but you get hit by a pebble and you die a wretched death... just something to keep in mind.
 
thats why i wont even sit in it, i wouldnt go anywhere near that car, its gutted too, there is nothing inside but a pair of seats and a dash, and a whole ton of bare metal just waiting to slice through him when he does wreck it!!
 
there is a dodge caravan that runs at lebanon valley dragway in lebanon new york on the wednesday test and tune that is in the 11's. and whats funny about it, is the guy has a 10 1/2 slick in the front on weld draglite's and the rear has draglite's with 3 1/2 inch tires lol the thing looks like its going backwards.
 
haha yeah, when I was at the track there was a Dodge Neon with the huge slicks on front, and tiny tires in the back. It was quite a sight to behold... especially when (I think) be blew his engine doing a burnout before his first run. Suffice it to say, I never got to see any times from him. hahahaha
