overpriced.

not impressed with a valve body

junkyard 4R70W w/ similar miles goes for $400. Used t/c goes for maybe $500 for a pretty new one. Maybe $100 in parts to do the jerry mod.

Put it all together and try to sell it used, and $1000 is still too much to ask, IMO.

I second that. The car it was in had over 300 rwhp, so those 30k miles are probably like 100k miles if the same tranny was in a crown vic.
