Door/Courtesy Lamp bulb size?

What is the bulb size used in the 97/98 door/courtesy lamp? I could not find it on Osram/Sylvania, and the bulb itself has no markings.

It's a number 168. It's in owner's manual....hard to find, but it's there. Mine was page 259.

Nope. It sure isn't a 168. It's a festoon bulb. It's actually called a "561" bulb, for whatever that is worth.

Thanks...put that number in my manual alongside the 168. How'd ya find out?

Went to the store and compared the bulb in person. For what it is worth, 561 is also compatible with 562, 563, 212-2, and 211-2. I was upgrading my entire interior to xenon look bulbs (they look PURE white, not blue) and couldn't figure out what the heck to put int he door panels.

Now I know. I put 211-2 bulbs in the doors, and they work PERFECTLY. I'll snap some pics later so you can see the difference.
