fumes from gas cars are far from being the cause of this planets problem, i mean, i do my part to try and keep pollution down, i dont drive much, so i make up for it in the 2 packs of cigarettes i smoke a day. are we gonna make electric passenger planes too, 100% electric trains, electric semi's, electric construction equipment, i am not here to argue, but electric cars will only be a fly spec on the map as far as less pollutants, its a cool idea but wont make any difference on this planet in our life time. i feel like driller, i say scrap them all. i'll be dead before i have to worry about whats gonna happen to mother earth, this planet has been here a long time, and so has life, nothing is ever gonna happen here while we are all alive. gasoline FTW!

That's one way of looking at it. I don't like supporting Big Oil in this... Less so from a "polluting" aspect. Although If you ever spent a day in cali/la car smog you'd beg to differ.

That said, they are currently up for 45k out here and even after the 12k in rebates or so its still a huge chunk of money for a limited range car.
 
i have seen pics of cali on the news with the whole smog thing, i believe you lol i wouldnt live there, i have also driven through jersey many times and its bad there too, i see everyones point from both sides of the fence but i myself dont care for the electrics, i think some are pretty wild and times have changed for sure, but as long as gas is for sale, i'll be buying it, reguardless of who my money is supporting, life sucks no matter what you do, so i just roll with the punches, i wont have to deal with it long, i'll be dead someday then others can worry about it!
