Factory alarm Randomly setting off

today after i ran my car through the wash the alrm kept going off i would turn it off with the fob and about 1 min later there it goes again. used keypad, and key as well. so I unpluged it for a few hours and it seems to be fine again. I assume something got wet any idea's on where to lok so I can seal it up better
 
If it's due to getting wet, it's likely the door keypad.

However, the number one cause for alarm malfunctions is a faulty hood switch. Located on the passenger side fender up front, it can be unplugged without consequence.
 
Thanks Driller the hood switch kinda makes sense when the hood was up it stopped doing it. I will unplug it and see if that works
