Finally, my 98 is on the road!!!

last saturday night i picked up everything i needed for the front end of my 98. i went to my shop around 9 pm saturday, turned on the radio, lit the place up like times square, made some coffee and went to town. i shut the shop down around 1 am and went home. i just put it on the road yesterday after work, went to the dmv, legalized it and went to leave and the damn battery was dead! so i had my wife come get me and went and got a brand new battery for it. everything is cool now, all i have left is to replace one of the front abs sensors i have to figure out which one is bad. but we have put about 65 miles on it since last night and she is running like a champ, drives so nice, nicer than my 97 and its got 210k on it, my father in laws 97 has 113k and it drives nicer than his too, best high mileage car i ever bought, not only does it drive like new, but it looks like 100k mile mark, this was a great score. here are some pics from last weekend.

it only took me 6 months to finally get it fixed and put it on the road. i bought this for my wife. she is happy to have a car again!
 
You always do a good job Jamie, I just picked up my eighth Mark two weeks ago.
1998 White LSC with 30k miles on it.
It looks and smells brand new, will post some pics later.

there were no boots left thats how i removed them from the car. the car has 210k on it, looks like 100k, drives like 30k lol its an awesome car for $1,350.00 cecil you got a little ways to go, my 97 is my 11th mark and this 98 above is my 12th mark, all in 8 years!
 
on the northern car! this is a north carolina car and was garage kept since he bought it in late 97. i just installed the new tires yesterday, firestone affinity touring radials, man i want to make this my daily driver and park my 97 !!! i am in love with this 98 and the way it drives.

i would hope to think they are not, only because this guy did take good care of the car, and because its got 210k , but if they are, wow! if they held up for that many miles thats awesome. its hard to tell, but there was no signs of them being replaced, i dont know they could have been the originals all i know is there wasnt many miles left to go on them before something bad happend!!
 
oh i can tell this car will last, one ride in this car would convince anyone looking for a mark not to rule out high mile marks, some of the high mile marks are some of th best ones as far as reliable.
