Apparently, out here in Cali., anything can cause gas prices to go up. Last month they went up about $0.30/gal.. we were told because of all the rain! Can you believe that? All the rain(in Cali... you know, 5 drops, and its suddenly "storm watch '04"). I swear, they will find any excuse to raise gas prices any time they want. Too much rain... over the summer its, "the energy crisis", or "too much heat"... I swear.. california isnt even in America anymore.
BTW, our "premium" is ONLY 91 octane... and its currently $1.80/gal in town.

I also find it interesting how prices go up IMMEDIATELY (like within an hour) during a crisis, i.e. 9-11, but when the crisis "passes", it takes days, weeks, or months to see a change downward at the gas pump. And the excuse is usually something about how it takes time for their costs to go back down. Funny how that works.
