How much extra power from resonator removal?

Looking to add a few more HP to my Mark VIII but don't want to do anything too drastic. By removing the resonator only, is there a noticeable difference in the performance?

nope....unless you count it as a weight removal mod.

do it and the rear mufflers and you'll knock almost 100lbs off the car

I thought the big rear resonators or mufflers were all there was other then the cats?

Those are the same things right? Or do I have this wrong?

Where is the resonator located?
If it wasn't wet outside I would look under the car...
I'm pretty sure I've got 2 pipes, all 4 cats, and there is nothing else, I don't think the pipes meet at any point...

I know on my 95 LSC there was a third cat and no separate resonator like I have seen on some.
