Mannnn That is by far THE coolest 4x4 ive ever seen with awesome capability. Watched it two times. Hats off to those guys that built it. Probably the only thing that could be tweaked on that is to have some metal fingers penumaticly pop out of the tires for digging into really soft sugar sand and or mud for claws, then retract back into the rim. Thanks for sharing it. :cool::cool:
 
I wonder what would happen if that thing got stuck. In that last scene he was trudging around some serious terrain, looked like the tires could just spin and spin and not go anywhere. Be interesting to see how they'd pull it out of someplace like that.
 
I think in that case he would just pump up one side and let it roll down the hill, lol.
 
pretty amazing. how do you think they were driving the wheels? (I watched without audio, so if they explained it, I'm sorry) I didn't see drive shafts.. hydraulic? electric?
 
I think they were using hydraulic motors, (similar to the Hummers (H1). Its basically a pressure controlled hydraulic motor, more gas = more pressure.
