Interesting Read about oil additives

My observation is that the majority concerned enough to want to use additives are by definition concerned enough to do the proper maintenance which in itself results in long service life.

I read one time that slick 50 goes into the oil pan, thru the oil pump and STOPPED in the oil filter....

for me, if it helped my oil pump ONLY...that'd be fine with me.

I do agree with what JP said though.

FWIW..
I ran slick 50 in my original engine and it seemed to "last long enough" and didn't have an "oil related failure".

Thats what alot of people out there do not realize, that proper periodic preventative maintenance is a less costly than reactive maintenance and will extend the life of the equipment.

Poor guys at Computer Gadgets for selling the fuel magnet. A few technologically ignorant executives decide to sell an automotive product in their online store of diverse products and support said product by blindly using unresearched (by them) lab testing provided by the manufacturer. I would say that those guys got scammed by the manufacturer...and they took the hit for it.
