RE: John's in Vegas... place your bets!

I'll tell ya why... but remember... you asked.

One look at Stanley, and you think, alright, this guy has it together. He is a smooth talker, speaks with intelect, and carries himself with confidence. But, wait a minute... we just met. He doesnt know me, yet he already knows what is good for me, and what I'm already like. How can that be? Because he is a gambler. Not always in the literal sense, but in a symbolic fashion. You see, gamblers are gamblers, because they are usually pretty good at it. If they werent any good, they would be broke, and wouldnt be able to afford to gamble. What makes a gambler good, is his/her intuitive way of "knowing" people. They can read between the lines. An expression on another's face often tells the story. Stanley has that ability. He welcomed us into his home with open arms, and presented us with gift both times we met him in person.(coffe/doughnuts/juice, and Cobra plaques). Stanley just seemed to "know" us right from the first deal. That comes with experience with people on a different level. The closest level that comes to mind, is a Gambler, a card player, someone who can read others, know what they are thinking, and react to that. Not to mention he took a risk devoting so much of his time to total strangers on our first meeting. He didnt know us from street people. He read what we wrote on the screen, decided to take it upon himself to break the barrier, and get us all together to meet in person. That was a gamble right there.

Thats why Stanley, you are associated with gambling.... oh, and the way you walked the table at Isleton!!!!

.....you asked.
