LOD Summer bash question

Former LOD President
How many people going are under 21?

I have a friend that might go with me, but he is under 21. He doesn't want to go if the whole group is going to be hanging out at the bar on Saturday or Sunday night. Are we going to be doing some 18-up activities, or 21-up?

I'd rather not miss out on any of the fun this weekend, but if i bring a friend i don't want to ditch him to go to the bar, either. And i'd rather make the drive with a passenger than by myself.

RE: LOD Summer bash question

The kid is under 21. I still don't know if he'll be bringing a friend (who would also be under 21). However, the kid said he didn't mind being left behind on Saturday night if we go out. And as far as I could tell, the only night that being 21 would be an issue would be Saturday (thought we'd just hang around the hotel bar/rooms on Friday).

RE: LOD Summer bash question

I MAY have an under 21 kid along also, unlikely at this point, but I suppose anything's possible(He'll most likely opt to have the house to himself!). I do think it's likely some attendees will be under 21.

That's the impression I was under also. The wife & I are certainly open to 'alternative' entertainment Saturday night where under 21 wouldn't necessarily be an issue.

Don't let the 'over 21' issue hold anyone from coming! ;)

RE: LOD Summer bash question

The saturday night thing can be resolved for 18+ peeps. We actually had John's 18th B-day there last meet. He even has the X rated pics to rprove it.

RE: LOD Summer bash question

well, it doesn't look like my friend is coming anyway, so it doesn't matter what we do. It'll be just me.

RE: LOD Summer bash question

Dave, when are you leaving town ? We can cruise together, I'd prefer it that way ... just in case a serpentine brakes or .... knock on wood ...

RE: LOD Summer bash question

Pretty much anytime tomorrow. I took the day off, i'll probably be leaving in the early afternoon. I have 3 things i want to do to my car, i'm going to save one or two for satuday but i'd like to get the brake proportioning valve installed before i leave. i don't know if i'll have time to do that tonight or tomorrow morning.

Is your friend Dave? If so tell him to come with. I'll even let him race my car again.

RE: LOD Summer bash question

Dave has to work, and he's broke anyway. All my friends are busy this weekend.

RE: LOD Summer bash question

I jsut set my alarm for 5:30 in the morning. I will be at Fox lake with my newly phuct engine around the time they open to drop it off. I will then drop by Eli's house, Jegs to get my jack warrantied, and Hensler racing, then head back for KY. I think I will be back here at 2 pm at the latest. I will get ahold of sharon, ryan, and whoever else wants to go to pick up some refreshments. Most of you fella's have my cell number if you need some help with directions to the track. I have only lived in this area for less than 2 years so I an not a wiz.

Hopefull ywe will have a hella good time.

RE: LOD Summer bash question

I'm going to try and get up around 9-10 to put my car back together the rest of the way. If not I'll be driving my cutlass. Gotta hook the water pump up, put radiator and fan back in. Also need to put the battery back in. Oh yeah can't forget the big one......................A brand new set of HID's.... woohooo.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D }( }( }( }( }( }( }(
