Looking for Ceramic coating....

Does anyone know where I can get CermaKrome, which is the chrome looking ceramic coating, mfg. by techline.

Since I'm doing my own powdercoating and already have a sandblaster and curing oven, I want to ceramic coat my headers and exhaust myself. Its actually really easy to DIY, just sandblast, clean, airbrush it on, cure at 500F, and polish to a chrome-like finish.

I want the oven cured stuff they sell to shops (cermakrome), not the air dry stuff (cermastainless).

Techline does not sell cermakrome retail, only to powdercoating shops, and then in only 55 Gal drums. At one time it could be bought in 6 oz. quantities from aviation supply companies, but the two I've tried are are all out, and won't reorder at 55 gal mimimum quantities.

I only need about 24 oz to do my headers, midpipes, etc.
Does anyone know someone who resells it?

Thanks,

I guess if I were in your position I would be calling distributors/shops to see if they could help you out.

Thanks, after several google searches, phone calls, and emails, I was able to find a supplier.

Evidently, Caswell Inc. is the only company that sells TechLine ceramic coatings in DIY quantities.

I got 32 oz., enough to do the headers, midpipes, mufflers, h or x pipe, as well as a custom cold air intake, for $100. To have a powder/ceramic coating shop do the same parts would have been at least $750.

Pictures of the finished headers should be on my cardomain site in about 2 weeks.

A couple of years ago Dennis was putting a 4.6 DOHC in one of those older T-birds. I saw it at his shop when I was getting my dyno tune.
