macco problems

Ok so, today I went to my local macco to have them put on dual in dual out flowmaster 40 series muffler in the place of my 3rd cat, But they wouldn't do it. They said its because admissions, but Minnesota doesn't even check for them. Does anybody know another place that would do it or would doing it myself be the best option?

Admissions? I assume you mean emissions? It's a Federal law they are referring to, not State. Federal law prohhibits them from eliminating the catalytic converter.
 
You're gonna have to find a 'local' shop. Ask some local hot rods - they'll know.

I had the entire exhaust on my Mark VII replaced when I got it. A trusted mechanic at the local Meineke could only quote factory replacement but told me where I could go to get what I wanted.
