Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

RE: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

They are great tires.. I have seen them on many of my friends AMG's and M3's. Never heard a bad thing about them yet.

BUT they are $$$$$

To be honest though, that tire/tread look horrible from the side and the outside comparing to the sport A/S.

But hey, the price difference is huge.

I went with the Dayton ZR’s, and absolutely love them… too bad you have to deal with snow up there.

Chris, I looked at them, but they do not come in that many sizes including the Mark's stock size. The only available size for a 16' rim is w245/50WR16, has any one used that size on a stock rim? They do have good feed back and the price is not bad.

I had 245/50-16 drag radials and they fit perfect. You'll love that size Steve.

I got 245/50/16, and it looks, handles, grips much better.

But the ride is a LITTLE bit harsher.

I am going with Continental ContiExtremeContact:

After reading the 100s of tirerack and other reviews on them, and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S I could not see spending $67 more per tire ($268 total) for the Michelin. I am getting them hunter GSP9700 balanced, new vales, and disposal of the old tires for $130 each.

I did like the Pirelli PZero Nero, however, even thought the 245/50-16 size will fit on the rim I calculated that the smaller radius would give about a 5% spedo error.
