The mufflers on my '96 are the polished stainless steel 2-1/2" inlet / 2-1/2" outlet, center/center, 14" long body, 5"x8" oval - p/n 14216. They were installed on a dual 2-1/2" exhaust piping setup with a single-x crossover.

Just a light feather of the throttle. Mine are from SCP and were dirt cheap at $79 a piece. I have 2.5" exhaust, with x-pipe and kooks headers. Sounds no different than a Cobra now other than the fact that my motor doesn't whine. Just the general public.
