so most of you know i have a baby boy who is already about to turn one in less then 2 week, yes its already been that long i thought the same thing lol. so anyway, he still has his very light blond hair and when he gets out of the bath and we dry it it looked fine, but an hour later after getting into everything and wearing more food then he eats his hair was a mess. it was very long, almost mullet looking out back, so i decided, after talking it over with the wife, hey let me cut his hair, she knows i like short hair, hell, my head is only skin thats short lol, but i cut my nephews hair all the time too, so i got out both my electric trimmers and all the attachments and sat his in a chair in the garage. my wife was cooking dinner and kept opening the door to the garage looking to see what i was doing to him and it was irratating me bad, so after yelling at her and putting the wrong attachment on i realized i went alot shorter then she wanted. she loved his long blond locks!! well hell i think i did a great job, i love it, and i think he looks not so little boyish anymore, he's now my little man with his first hair cut and 1 year old around the corner. my wife said he looks cute but she is upset i took so much off, for some reason she doesnt seem to understand its hair, and it comes back mighty fast when they are young. check it out lol i think he looks fine.

Ah... Looks ok to me. Besides, it will soon grow back! Now, if you had done that to your daughter's hair... well... im sure your wife would really have something to say about that! :D

Jamie, you have some cute kids! I've got to say the pampers box from your little guy that you sent the gauge cluster in had everyone laughing at me at work when it arrived!

OMG how cute! Actually, I love the cut. The Kid used to love buzz cuts when he was young.

lol Eric that would have been my father in law who packed that up, that sounds like him, making the best of the boxes we have laying around!!! thanks for the compliment on them too they are adorable except my daughter has her dads smart mouth already, boy does she ever sometimes i want to put her through a wall but in the end i have to laugh cuz she is just a female version of me when i was a kid so i cant complain too much, its my fault so....
as far as his hair i think he already likes it his head used to sweat so bad when he would sleep now he's dry and happy!!

hahaha i remember the dreaded electric clippers! I think every kid has memories of squirming in that kitchen chair or garage and getting buzzed by his Dad. It's tradition.
I think what scares the kids most is the noise, the old ones were so darn loud! Youd think that he was usuing electric hedge shears on ya. haha

Cute kid, and yeah i think he looks fine too.

You should take some smiling lessons from your boy Jamie! He must get the good looks from the wifey, haha! :)

if i got to drive around in a cop car with free gas, have my own donut card to dunkin donuts, and attend numerous car shows on the job maybe i would smile for you jesse, but since i'm stuck in misery, my mouth muscles will continue to be on vacation!

LOL Cops live the good life. ;)

I think the haircut looks pretty good, Jamie. When my daughter was less than a year old, my wife got her ears pierced (without my knowledge) -- suffice to say, I have a free pass saved up that entitles me to do whatever I want. Just haven't figured out how to spend it yet. :)
