its always nice to get new parts in the mail. My 98 Cobra intake manifold bolts from Pro weld performance came in today. I ordered upper and lower in black oxide. They even include the specialty bolts for the front two with spacers and 2nd bolts through the top for alternator bracket and front of manifold very nice quality. Now I have all the pieces my cobra exhaust manifolds, upper and lower intake powder coated, bolts, gaskets, Flaming River steering joint, D&D stub, and stickers! Pro weld includes stickers to apply for more horsepower probably about 5 to 8 horsepower! The only thing I'm waiting on is my 8 inch piece of steering shaft to cut down to 7 inches and the coupler. After everyone has done this is it really necessary to buy an 8 inch shaft and cut down a half inch off each end or is 6 inches too short? Since they don't sell 7 inches they have 6 inch and 8 inches and we know it is too long. Anyways I miss Doug and his fabricating skills and little do dads he used to make before I had to buy them this will be for him when I get started. I'm actually looking at another mark tomorrow its a 97 super clean not a dent,ding,scratch and the headlights look almost brand new.my birthday was 2 days ago the 4th anniversary of my motorcycle accident that paralyze meand a new year comingthe outlook is good!
