I have a 97 lincoln mark 8 and the running lights do not work. It started when my car wouldn't shift out of park and i had no back lights at all read up on it and replaced the brake light switch but only to hear the fuse pop when I would hit the brake so I wrapped the fuse in foil(I know it's bad but temp fix lol) and that gives me brake lights and allows the car to shift out of park. I think I have a short somewhere but I don't know how to even look let alone fix that. Please help
