Now I've done it!

I figure it had something to do with a 1.768 sixty foot launch?

Thought I heard it on the way home that day and a couple days later it was definitely an exhaust manifold gasket leak in my mind. But the ching ching sound had me wondering.

Too much torque. LOL

Yikes! Hopefully, you can weld it up and go racing JP! Were they jet hot coated? I have jet hot coated kooks, and they seem to be holding up good so far.

It looks like it will weld up as long as it's not too bent.

You might have more clearance now.:D

Yes they were Jet coated and the shop will weld it up. I don't have the time to send it off to Kooks for warranty coverage with SSHS10 coming up. The shop owner where it's at is one of the best welders I've seen, so I have confidence in his work.

Lol chaching! :) I was reading another post about something to do with Duct tape and WD 40??

Really, to have someone weld it? I Immediately noticed it was already "out" in the picture, I'm assuming you pulled it.

Ummm, no, I took it to a shop to be done. I originally figured it to be the exhaust manifold gaskets.

If I would've pulled it, I would've took it up to work and had our lead welder fixed it. No lift + no time = less money. :(

JP, did you finally decide to use OEM gaskets ? We have zero issues with those here.

That $500 would go nice towards the lift ;)
