Just wondered if anyone has done this. I have seen one black LSC on the internet that had the window trim black. I do not believe the LSC usually came with black trim around those windows (door & quarter). I would imagine sanding the chrome and maybe using a self etching primer may do the trick.

its a pita! OK so I know this is an old thread and boo for me digging up old stuff. I painted my chrome window surrounds. You have to scuff the crap out of it!!!!! Then you can prime, and paint it. I used plastic primer and it came out good, but the real pita is the taping! Lots of taping and lots of rediculously close places where your blade better be sharp!!!!

yeah... just make sure you sand the crap out of the chrome and use a good primer.
