Have no fear, we 'northerners' have this same photo in our gunsights! It'll be here much too soon! Here is central Maryland/Wash DC area already have pollen counts for trees on our TV weather forcasts. Once oak starts, I'll be hiding inside for 3 weeks!
Oh yeah.. soon enough here too! By the way, DON'T WIPE THAT STUFF OFF! Hose it off or wash the car, pollen is very abrasive and if you wipe or dust it dry it'll sure as hell scratch the paint.

Wow, TY for your reply Leo. I didnt know that but will remember it now. I have "california dry dusted" off previous vehicles before i knew this with duster.
I'm guessing that pollen is worse but, I'd rinse the ash off right away too.
Edit: Oops, I guess rinsing your car off is not an option right now either. I hope things get better down there soon. I've done some testing, at the Ford track in Naples, when the fires were burning down there. It was very scary. Take care.
Actually it wasn't that bad for me, with the green/gold hue in my paint only if I really looked in the reflection could I see the caked on layer of pollen!
