Rear Windshield Molding

I just had my 1994 Mark VIII painted and the rear windshield molding (rubber), needs to be replaced but the shop said that to replace the rear windshield molding, the entire windshield had to be replaced at a cost of $1,400.00.

Does anyone know where to get just the molding (rubber), or what I can do?

yuou can only get it with the back windshield. you cannot buy it seperately.

Search the archives. Some others may have some options, but yes, the window and seal are one piece. Geez, who designed that?
