Rejoining the Mark VIII world

I recently purchased my 2nd Mark VIII. This one is a 93 model with 80000. It was a one owner car owned by an older lady that can longer drive. I want to kind of question the 80000 original miles but the odometer is working. So far I have cured the miss in the engine. Found a fouled out #8 plug. I have rebuilt the front end and picked up from the alignment shop this morning. I have some other issues that will need to be addressed soon. I am sure I will be posting some questions soon. Glad to be back in the drivers seat of a Mark VIII.

Welcome to the Lincolns of Distinction! :)

Congrats on the new ride! Post pics and more details when you get a chance.

Look for the "Insert Image" button on the top of the reply box. Click on it and you should then have the menu to insert a picture from your device.

I’m in the reply box. I see the 5 icons across the top B I 3 dots paper clip pic? 3 more dots . They are all greyed out and don’t do anything when I touch them

What device are you using?

Clicking the first 3 dots should give you an expanded menu?

The reply box on my laptop looks like this:

The arrow is pointing to the icon to click to insert a pic.

It may be different on a phone but should be similar and like I mentioned, the 3 dots should lead to an expanded menu.

I’m using an iPhone. I even asked a couple people at work and nobody knows why I can’t copy and paste. I’ll try again some other time from computer

Thanks... it's been a while and I had to refresh my memory on user permissions.

@loman , posting attachments directly from your device to the forums is a paid member perk. Since such attachments are stored on the server, server space is reserved for those that pay to support the forums and club.

If you have images hosted somewhere on the web, you can post a link them in your reply. For example you would then click the "insert image" icon where you would paste the url of the pic you wish to display.

Driller,

That makes sense now. each time i hit the pic icon it was wanting an url address and not giving me the option to copy and paste.
