Maybe so but most of us weren't so we don't give a damn! That said, here is a pic of the one and only Mercury I did own. It was an '82 Capri RS with a heavily worked over 306. This thing ran a 12.8 on the motor. I was surprised as hell after the first run down the track. It was in amazing condition and I wish I had pics of the Saleen wheels I later put on but I don't:
