Looks like Hubby and I will be staying at the St. Anthony hotel in San Antonio from Thursday, October 16 to Monday, October 20. Hubby is planning on golfing as much as he possibly can and I'll just be chillin.

I am very much looking forward to getting together with Scott and his family, and Lee - and if there's anyone else who'd like to get together, let me know! This should be a fun trip, I'm really looking forward to it, and as long as I promise Hubby he can golf, I seem to be able to make whatever plans I want. :)

I have already taken out a billboard ad welcoming you. I got the ad right next to the ad on US281 North showing the infected, yellow toe nail advertising a storage system.
Now that is love.

You're going to love the St. Anthony. Lots of history there. Their resturant is excellent. The Majestic theatre nearby. Want me to see if anything interesting is playing then? Let me know.

Lee you are confusing me big time with Norms old sig pic. I have seen that pic posted by norm for the last 2 years it seems like.

I just spent 5 minutes looking for your new post, just to keep scanning over it due to that pic. LOL

Has it cooled off down there any yet? You get some of that "cold" front that moved down through there?

Hey Lee! Not sure we'll have time for the theatre, but thanks for the info, I'll keep it in mind. Yes, the hotel looked very interesting, and I also agree with Pony - your sig pic is throwing me for a loop. :)

Still not a lot cooler here yet, but will be in a couple of weeks. Our summer hasn't been all that bad this year. The cold front dropped it all the way down to about 92. Due to the tropical storm that made land fall on Sat night the humidity was just as high.

I plan to get my own sig pic as soon as I get one that I like. I told Norm that since I stole his car I might as well steal his signature photo as well :) This one just happens to say it all about our cars.

If you happen to do the Alamo routine while you're here, just across the street to the East is the Gunter Hotel. You can have a drink in the same bar where Teddy Roosevelt recruited the Rough Riders.

San Antonio is fun. I plan and getting Lee (listen up Lee) and other LOD members in the area together for a little barbecue here at the house. I'm sure Tammy and Sharon will have everything ready when "Hubby" and I get back from golfing. Cold beer, warm food and hot wives. YEE HAAA.

Warm food, Scott? I'm sure I can find a liquor store, but I have no idea what the phone numbers are for the take out places. ;-) Oh, and the hot wives part seems to take a lot more time than it used to (for me anyway, I won't speak for Tammy). ;-)
