Some fun from my school...

So my school (Washtenaw Community College) has a program in the automotive program called Custom Cars & Concepts. Its been around for a few years and they've done some pretty sweet projects. We just got video of the latest. Its a 1951 Ford F1 that was built for Make-A-Wish. The truck was in the kids family for a long time, and he and his grandfather started to restore it when they found out he had a lung disease which was not helped by the chemicals they were using. Make-A-Wish chose WCC to restore the truck. The end result is a completely custom truck valued at over $200,000. Only two original body parts remain. It has a 4.6L V8 3V donated from Ford, with a Kenne Bell supercharger. 4R70W trans, and I'm not sure of the gear. I've heard 600hp but I'm not sure if thats wheel or crank. This thing is loud!! The instructor who was driving said all this was at quarter to half throttle. The truck has been featured in Truckin' Magazine, went to Sema, and will be at this years Detroit Autorama where it will be given to the kid. The local news channel came out and took around 5 hours of footage, this is what they sent us of all the footage.

Also had a BMW X6 there yesterday, I didn't take any pics but it weighs 5,015 lbs with almost 50/50 weight distribution.

The GTR seemed to have around 1,200ish lbs at each front corner with 800ish lbs at the rear corners.

That truck is very cool. Great to see how many people & companies got behind the project and where it's going.
