when doing the cobra exhaust manifold swap along with the steering modification I know or we all know the replacement shaft should be 7 inches. 8 inch shaft cut a half inch on either hand. I've heard people say it could be a little shorter. Borgeson has ashaft 6.75 inches. opinions on if that will work is a quarter inch going to make that much difference. common sense tells me it will work but I'd like other opinions
