Stupid Cardinal!

This cardinal at work was attacking a friends car whenever he parked too close to it's tree (nest).

It crapped all over the hood and was attacking the bumper and grille. This was a few months ago and I forgot all about it.

I parked there the other day, and saw it trying to peck to death, its own reflection in my mirror.:D

Yeah, I knew I'd get comments about the car:D

I drive 50 miles each way to work, it takes me 1- 1.5 hours each way, depending on traffic and weather.

The car gets filthy after one way to work in the winter.:(

The cardinal sure looks clean though.:)

never seen a Cardinal in real life.

the post title, I thought would be something blasphemous about a member of higher clergy. lol

No Cardinals in California?

I've got a bunch of them around here, they hang around for the winter too.

Of course, I've got a lot of flying critters around here, owls, hawks, eagles, turkey buzzards, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, herons, egrits, ducks, cormorants, swans, geese, crows, robins, red wing blackbirds, blackbirds, sea gulls, turns,....... :)

I have to clean a lot of bird crap off my cars. As a matter of fact, that stupid cardinal crapped on both of my mirrors today at work.:D

HAHAHAHA--- I know THAT problem. Solved it too. I had a robin that would crap on my passenger side rear view mirror daily! After I got tired of cleaning up after it, I covered BOTH mirrors with Saran Wrap and laid down a layer of Tanglefoot on each mirror. 1st morning and rest of day that stupid robin didn't use my mirror as a toilet. But on day 2 I went out and on the passenger side found a BATCH of red feathers and a tail feather stuck in the goop. I left it on for two more days and he didn't come back so I removed it. This was 3 years ago now......none since!

I bought the stuff as a bug stopper on trees, but it is SOOOOO sticky, I thought of that stuff immediately. Here's what it is: http://www.contech-inc.com/products/treetanglefoot/ But sure to use throwaway latex gloves to handle it.

None of this type pecking at my mirror.

The holyness might be pecking something else...........yes, I went there. LOL

I actually do care, I'd rather drive a clean Mark VIII to work than a dirty one.

That doesn't happen much in the winter though:D.
