i had the same set up on my 96 mk8 i had. but i also had another x pipe before the mufflers.....so i had the cats - x pipe - two mufflers - x pipe and a single tip

My X was supposed to go back by the differential, but it didn't fit.

i found an xpipe that the in and out- let came straight out. then had a custom $250 tip
