Thermocouple help

I am needing to ask someone some detailed questions about thermocouples and thermocouple reading devices. Can anyone anwser a couple questions??

It depends on how detailed you want to get into it.....I use thermocouple devices for the testing I do but I'm not sure what all I could answer

I'm an engineer and had to use them in some lab experiments at school, but my experience with them is limited. Ask away and see what we can come up with.

I have a friend who has used them on the headers of his race cars in the past. They were located near the exhaust port of each cylinder and I think he used the data to fine tune the engine cylinder by cylinder. I sent you an e-mail with his contact information when I first saw this post.
