Now that FORD doesn't own Jaguar anymore they should really focus on making Lincoln the upscale brand it once was.

I thought that deal never went through. Aston Martin is gone however.

I find it quite laughable that people took what I said seriously considering that not only do all of us own the car, we take out our time to talk to other people who own the car. Not to mention the infrequency that when I post something here, its not a joke.

What was not serious about your post? The Mark VIII's sales volumes were extremely low. If they were a Ford mainstream brand, they would have been killed off in 1995.

Nobody wanted a luxury/muscle 2-door limo.

I did. Just not for 38K. I wanted this car since 9th grade IIRC. Got it in 11th or 12th on December 19th.

Taurus is now based on the Ford 500... And you bet it is a large car... but it is a FWD platform.

I've been looking, but have not seen one on the road yet.
