Hello! I'm the owner of a 1997 Lincoln Continental located in Kansas City, Missouri. It's a work in progress, I need a reliable honest mechanic near me, a cloth/rag top, paint job, theres about 6?,000 miles on it, leaking power steering, paid $250. for a fix but it still leaks. If you know anyone please let me know

Welcome to the Lincolns of Distinction! I moved your post to the New User Introduction section. I personally don't know of anyone in Kansas City, hopefully, someone here will. You can also post questions in the Continental section.

Welcome! 👋

Best of luck with your Lincoln. It is indeed tough to find reliable mechanics to work on older vehicles. My advice would be to find local car shows and strike up conversations with local enthusiasts to see what name(s) come up repeatedly.

Thank you. my 97 continental sat for approx. 10 years so its a work in progress. Hopefully someone on this forum has info on a mechanic in my Kansas City area. I've been driving it about 4 years, 68,000 miles on meter. Leaking power steering fluid 1st. Can all the fuses be replaced at the same time?

It seems, a lot of issues are solved by changing the correct fuses. Rear window doesn't work, interior lights etc. so my thoughts to change them all came about. I bought a few fuses but they look so cheap poorly made. I'm searching a alternate fuse manufacturer. Have a quality day.
