Please respond if you care and are coming to the Chicago meet on Sept. 17.

I wanted to get a 1/4 barrel or Firkin (or whatever that is) so we have something on tap. I will also be getting all kinds of beer in bottles.

Please let me know if you want anything special, and vote above if you want one of those beers. I need to order those by Monday of next week.

Still probably won't make it, but i voted anyway. never had the 3 floyds, but the goose island honkers i had the other day was real good.

I've heard these Three Floyds beers are good (I checked on Beeradvocate.com) and that is what they told me at Binny's. I think I'll have to try some before I place my vote. And I haven't decided if I'm going to let Hubby vote on this. He still wants me just to get those 5L cans of beers, but I want something on tap.

I picked up cases of bottles of stuff too, so this is by no means the only drink available.

Any beer after a tough round of golf without a beer girl driving around will work. Kinda like today.:)

Beer girl? No wonder Hubby likes to golf so much.

I got a few of those listed and maybe Mark can come over and we'll do a taste test. I'm guessing of the votes above, one is Steve's cause he has this thing about voting in polls, whether they pertain to him or not. }(

I couldn't find the Three Floyds Pride and Joy but I did try the Alpha Kings. Interesting beer, citrusy, but by no means (IMO) a universal type beer that would be good for a majority of people. So that one's out. I tried the Honkers and liked it. Haven't tried the Sam Adams yet, but I'm no fan of Sam Adams for the most part. It's looking like it's gonna be the Goose Island. So, Dave, one more reason for you to come and visit us. ;)

I voted for Micelob, its the safe bet since I've never tried the 3 Floyds. But Goose Island beer are good.
