Why do I love this club?

Well, no pics due to aging and weight gain, but beerdog, Scott and I just had a fabulous evening out in the Chicago suburbs.

I just can't believe what good friends I've made through this club and how much fun I have when people either visit me or I go visit them.

The only thing I regret is that we're so far apart other than having this site to meet at.

Really, people, if you come to the Chicago area, please let us know. It's a joy meeting with people from this club.
 
Lol....sorry about living so far away....us Cali folk are as cool as you guys.
 
I can't believe the amount of friends I've met here either.

From just the people responding here so far, I've met Sharon and Jessie in person. That's 50 percent :D

For the other 50 percent:

I'm planning a vacation to Florida this winter Jamie.

Steve, I visit my dad in New Jersey every once in a while.

And Sharon, my work travels might might bring me close to your area too.

If I get the chance, I'd like to stop by and say hello to everyone here.:)
 
hey i'm around all the time bill, just let me know when you are coming down. i'd love to go to carlisle it sounds like so much fun but its just too far for me to make a round trip and i'd hate to go without my wife, but i could never drag my 6 and 1 year old on a trip like that in a car its just to tough on them. i wish i could meet more of you too.

I enjoy all the characters in this club. Carlisle always feels like a family reunion! I just wish I could meet even more of you :cool:

Yes, well not fat, but Husky as we used to say back in Buffalo New York, during my early years.
I was in Chicago on business and called Sharon and her husband to see if they wanted to get together. A great time eating seafood, drinking beers, sampling other beers, and talking cars and family. Much talk about golf as well as her husband and I enjoy frustrating ourselves with that sport.
Good people and good friends. Thanks Sharon and "Beerdog."
