Wikipedia isn't always a good source...

See the screenshot I took below. It does not contain any profanity, but may contain offensive material. I think the author was trying to be funny...I have to admit that I almost fell out of my chair laughing. The article was eventually deleted for being "patent nonsense".

I have made corrections and additions (not that one) to Wikipedia, since it is open to anyone you need to be careful as it is self policed.

That's a funny definition!

I'm laughing my butt off!

There's nothing wrong with that either.:D

okay i have to ask, why were you searching for butt rangers in the first place??

Whoa...I forgot how self-incriminating that was. I sent this around my office buddies a couple months ago and got the same response from one of them.

I looked it up because a friend of mine had mentioned that "butt pirate" had been submitted and subsequently deleted about a dozen times by a dozen different people. You can look up the historical submission logs for any entry that has been deleted. Anyway, being of sound scientific mind, I decided to do some "research" into other terms of equal stature, and came across the article above. Figuring it wouldn't last, I took a screen shot.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for, a well cited article has always provided good general info for a topic for me.
