Winter Tires Recommendation

Winter is coming and I need a new set of snow tires for my Town Car. I have already checked 4wheelonline and the wide variety of products left me confused. I've been running a set of Michelin Xi3 for years now and I want to try something new.

I ran the General Altimax "Arctic" on my '99 Town Car. I'll be fully transparent that I bought them because they were the least expensive option at the time, but I had great luck with them and I'd run them again without hesitation. Quite regularly I'd go out in the middle of a storm that only had 4wd trucks on the road, and I'd be getting around just fine. The air suspension meant I could toss a few hundred pounds of sand in the trunk without sag, too. That was a nice car..

The li'll lady's Nissan Versa has a set of the Michelin x-ice tires for winter duty that got a major workout in a South Dakota blizzard a couple years back. No complaints about those, either.

Thank you for the candid reply, I'm going to check reviews about the General Altimax.

I've always believed in dedicated winter tires. The Bridgestone Blizzak series is my go to winter tire.

Which reminds me, I need to buy a new set this season for the Navigator.
