I am again listing my 1998 Mark VIII (see below).
I have too many cars, not enough garage space, and too many projects. So, I have been ordered to sell the Mark VIII. I would prefer to sell this car as what it is, a Classic, to someone who appreciates it as much as I do.
I am asking $7,500.

I am located in Northern Utah and can work with you on pickup, delivery or shipping.

This rust-free car grew up in southern California and I brought it to Utah a few years ago.
It has been garaged ever since I have had it.

Here is what I have done:
  • Rebuilt transmission
  • Replaced front end: hubs, power steering pump and rack
  • Replaced front air struts
  • Added performance front brake rotors and pads
  • Installed: 3-row performance radiator
  • Replaced driver’s seat track
  • Replaced wiper switch
  • Replaced blend door for HVAC system
  • Added CD to Audio-in adapter
  • Added USB power behind the dash to the windshield and to the ashtray.
  • Replaced window switches
  • Replaced display screen/computer
  • Replaced driver’s door handle
  • Replaced center console cup holder
  • New Tires (less than 1,000 miles)
It still Needs: (this is already discounted in the price)
  • Fix P1518 code (this comes on while the car warms up)
  • Repair pealing Chrome on grill.
  • Driver’s seat leather is getting worn
Additional parts included:
  • Performance rear disks and brake pads
  • Seat motors and switches
Other information:
This car is insured for $10,000 with Hagerty as a classic.

Good afternoon. New to this site but have been a member of another Lincoln group for a few years. I currently own a 1998 LSC, 104,200 miles but it needs some work. I am looking for another GEN 2.

First, is the car still for sale? And, if it is, how far north in Utah? I am in the Phoenix area. I didn't see the mileage, if I missed it, please excuse the oversight.

It appears, by the code, the car should be trailered considering the distance. Also. when do you need it gone by? (Concerned with weather and Holidays, not payment).

Hello All,

It’s been a while since last I posted.
Here is a Quick update:

Since I hate to pass on any issues to a new owner, I have resolved the P1518 code by professionally replacing and setting up a new Intake manifold runner.

The car is now running well with no know issue.

I am now asking $7,000.
