X pipe size

hey, what's the spec of an X pipe that iwll fit on a 1994. I was gonna cut off the 3rd cat and bring it to an exhaust shop and get an X pipe welded up. Do those front catylitic converters clog before the 3rd one does?? I'm worried I might have clogged cats, I only pull like 24 MPG on the freeway (75 MPH). Recent fuel filter, MSD ignition, recent spark pluges, o2 sensor jsut changed, new air filter, no resonaters.

RE: X pipe size

yeah, well some guy around here said he averaged 26 overall, he might have been pulling my leg but it sounded like he meant business.

RE: X pipe size

I work 565 miles from home now and I have driven that distance several times. I typically average over 28mpg for the whole trip and I run 80mph in the 70 zones for most of the trip. My car is totally stock except for the 188 degree thermostat. Still running the original O2 sensors. It takes me about 8 1/2 hrs to make the trip including one stop for gas/food. That's an average of over 66mph.

RE: X pipe size

alright, enough with the small talk. What's the best X-pipe for our car and where do we get one?
