OK, people. It's come to my attention that so far we don't have many pre-registered LOD cars for Carlisle. This is my official sign up sheet. I want YOU to tell ME that you will be attending and whether or not you have pre-registered. Don't lie, either, I have ways of finding out, I'm a mom. You may also provide more information if you like. I will update this list as I feel like it.

So now that I have the sign up list, let me give you some reasons to pre-register.

1. It will be my birthday. According to Sax, there will be a big party. I want you there!
2. It is also Patrick's birthday. He, I'm sure, would also want you there.
3. It is another way I intend to honor Alex's memory.
4. I want us moved off the hill people.
5. If no one attends my birthday party I'll cry.
6. Do you REALLY want to hear me whining about my horrific treks up and down that damn hill?
7. I will continue to whine for the number of days less than the 25 registered cars we need.
8. Have I mentioned it will be my birthday?
9. If you pre-register you save money.
10. Carlisle's a hard trip for me anymore, and who knows when I'll get to go again, so if you want to see me, which of course you do, this is your year.

Do you need more reasons? Do you need more information? Don't you like having a good time?

Another reason to pre-register is to induce the Carlisle people to restore the four Mark VIII classes:
Gen 1 Stock and Modified
Gen II Stock and Modified
 
Ha! There will be at least 2 from Drillers house! Two cars are already pre-registered. TWICE the fun! :D

We have reservations from last year at the Comfort Suites in downtown Carlisle.
 
I'm pre-registered, and staying at the Comfort Suites.
Will arrive Thursday, and leave late Sunday morning.

Hint: SIGN UP, PEOPLE!!!! HELP GET US OFF THE MOUNTAIN!!

I plan on being there, but I need to call to register. I'll try tomorrow.

Does anyone know when the pre registration ends?
 
You're darn right I'd want you there! I'm preregistered with my '97, but I'm only gonna be there on Saturday. But hey... I'm still preregistered. 8)

OK, reason # whatever: I never win an award. Do NOT let me win furthest distance driven. Keep my record clean. :D
 
OK so here's a thought... if anyone has friends also coming to Carlisle with something other than a Lincoln and don't register as being with any club ask them to list the LOD as their club when they register. They still park with their respective class but we get the credit. You don't have to be a dues paying member to register a club.

Greetings! It's been a long time since I've posted, but I've been around. Have we hit the magical 25 number yet? I'm very seriously considering making the trip out. I've got the girlfriend checking to see if she can get the time off. It sounds like it'll be a good time. If this all works out, I'd probably be in the running for the "longest trip" award. 1023 miles from River Falls, WI according to Google. I think the 'ol Mark is up to the task. Would anyone with some previous experience at the show care to let me know what we'd be in for? I'm assuming at this point, I'll have to find a hotel in Harrisburg - How's that drive? Do most folks leave the show at night, and come back in the morning? (long lines both ways, I'd imagine?) I think I'm looking for someone to give me the extra "push" I need. It'd sure be a kick to meet you all "in the flesh." Somebody will also need to let me know what I need to bring for Trixie's b-day gift.

Well, Mike, that's about 6 hours from my house. We can always discuss having you stop here on the way there, but we're gonna leave sometime hopefully early in the day on Wednesday the 5th so we can do the brewery tour on Thursday.

For a gift? Pfft, that's easy -- booze. hee hee. Just kidding, I thought I'd have to provide presents to everyone who attends, I'd just like to spend the time with a large group of Lincoln lovers. ;)

I'm staying in Carlisle, cause yeah, when I've stayed outside Carlisle the drive to the fairgrounds really suck. Then again, if you oversleep and get tot he fairgrounds later in the day, it's not so bad, lol.

I had a write up a long time ago of what to expect at Carlisle, but I can't find it, and it may be out of date. Expect a LOT of fun and a lot of Mustangs. Check the past events for pics, there should be some great ones of us having fun.

Someone should update that, cause I know things club-wise aren't quite the same anymore and I'm just assuming that the Gate 3 info still holds true.

I think everyone registered to attend should temprarily modify their sig to say so. ;)

If for nothing else than to make the others feel bad. :p
