Carlisle 2009

Don't worry, it's not like I'm PLANNING on abandoning you, Bud. :p I've just never done or been to anything like this, and I'm trying to get a feel for what it's like.

Naaaah, me? 'course not! :D

Someone might want to update the subtext of this forum, it still says that Carlisle is June 6th to the 8th.

might not be a bad idea to put this as the "upcoming event" on the main page too. As opposed to something that already happened.

Has anyone worked out their drive schedules yet? If any of the IL folks want us to meet up on our way through from WI, and caravan? (or for that matter, anyone else going that way)

No def. plans yet, but I think we were gonna stop in Hammond area again at 3 floyds brewery and meet up with Anthraxbird. I registered both of our Marks, we'll see. It's unlikely I can do the whole drive in 1 day, though, especially since the brewery doesn't open til lunch time.

Hmm.. Three Floyds. I'm thinking that's nearly impossible to pass up. give me a day and a time, and I'll be there! Do you Chicago area folks get "Surly" yet? they've been the hot local beer here in the twin cities for a couple years now.

I haven't heard of it, but not sure about hubby.

I had a Marzen in Vegas and really liked it. And my Vegas trip may have taken away from some of our travel funds, we'll have to see.

they say one's sense of humor peaks at age 88! they also say that alcohol tolerance peaks around 77.. this ought to be a blast!

Direct links to the full size photos I have of the Sax-a-Linc-a-Lac: be patient while downloading, they're pretty big - probably 8Mb per. Right-click, "save target as," etc.

Engine: (as posted above, but full size)

It seems I don't have one of the whole car.

Interestingly enough, the song playing on the radio as I type this, is "King Khan and The Shrines - Land of the Freak." Which happens to include the words "Take a ride in a big Cadillac." :)

I'll be 88 this year, and I think Patrick turns 18 or 19?

19 this year. I've been able to (legally) buy cigs for a full year! Only 2 more years until I can (legally) drink. hahaha legal, schmegal.

Edit: 88? Damn girl, aren't you a little too old to be driving a Lincoln? :p
