Carlisle Fever...

Sharon, Should I just call the hotel to check on a room then? or do we have a procedure to follow? And thanks for checking on the Vegetarian meal thing. You truly are the best!

Yep, just call the hotel and tell them you want a room with the Lincolns of Distinction. We have a block of rooms saved at what was supposed to be a discount rate.

heh.. I like the implied suspicion on "discount rate." Somebody has to pay to replace all of the artificial floral arrangements!

I swear we, and yes I said WE (cause' it's not just me (it might be mainly me)) have never been so well behaved in a hotel. This is the good hotel and we want to be allowed to keep coming back... :D

....cause you like their parking lot so much.........

:DAnd the front Park-walk!

Somewhere there are pictures from the following day to prove that I wasn't the only vehicle to travel down that particular sidewalk that weekend... :D

I'll have to do a little digging around to see if I can find those pics... :D

Can anyone remember if I ever took the red MK to Carlisle?

I know I was there with my black 94... there is photographic evidence of that :D

And the current DTSax has posed as a MK8 for the last 2 years (so well, Leo had to stop someone from voting for it...) :D

But I can't seem to find / remember if the red MK ever made it...

In four weeks, we'll all either be packing, on the road, or already there. I can't believe how quickly the time came this year!!!

So what do we all think about me taking both "MK8s" to Carlisle...

I'm thinking I may need the extra transport space...

On the plus side, we'll get an extra preregistered spot, and have a car as a runabout if we need to leave the showfield for anything, like getting people...

On the not-plus side... I dunno, I can't think of anything good...
Um, it's not an actual Lincoln, and it's gonna cost me more money... :p

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

btw, does anyone know... does the hotel have a pool...

There's a whirlpool in cometman's room! LOL :D
