Carlisle Fever...

I'm really sorry guys, but I won't be able to make it this year. My new car is ending up costing me a bit more than I had thought; it needs (at least) new brakes and tires. I just can't afford the gas, the food, the room, or to miss work. :(

yeah yeah... :p

So who wants to "help" me install the spider valve that just came in the mail today? :D

I can tell you I'm going to need some new air line... :D

See... I can work too... I'm helpful... :p

My original spider valve came with plenty of air line.

What spider valve do you have?

I can help with the electrical and air lines but the mounting of the new spider valves looks like the hard part.

I didn't know there were multiple types...

I have the used kind... :D

The airlines were cut when it was removed from whatever car it used to be part of. Is that the kind of thing I can buy at a parts store?

They might be available, I'd take the spider valve in and see if they can match the size.

Did you get the (4) airline union connectors with the valve?

We made it. we drove through a big storm. We set up our tents between storms.

Here at the campsite, someone lost a tent and it ended up on a roof of a house nearby, right before we got here.

I checked radar, and there is more to come.

So far, Carlisle has been low key, but has still ruled!

Don't tell Sharon I'm posting at 3AM... she thinks I'm asleep and gonna be at the showfield early tomorrow... :D

We'll see... :)

Ok, made it to the showfield at 10:20AM... people applauded as I drove by the tent... I think it was the earliest I've ever arrive to the showfield... :D

Saturday night lasted until after breakfast at 6:30AM, where I know I can't speak for other people, but I was mesmerized by the waffle maker... :D

Didn't get to the showfield until around 3:30PM today (sunday) just in time for the official packing up...

Now we're out on the patio of the hotel, this has been the most lowkey, chilled out weekend ever... it's been so much fun... :D :D :D :D :D

for the record, the fast luggage cart is the one with the big wheels... the carts with the small wheels don't maintain their speed around the corners as you go down the parking garage...
