There has been some debate among the 'minors' (JP and Tammie's nephews) as to what is worse for you, beer or Mountain Dew...

Although I no longer drink Alcohol, I'd say beer is much better for you than Mountain Dew. Beer is loaded with vitamins, Mountain Dew is loaded with artificial stuff you never heard of. :(

Oh yeah, there was some of that.

Short version, my 3 runs averaged 14.041 and I fell short to an average of 14.017! :eek:

But once again the car show gave the Harley truck 3 awards. :)

BTW, the LOD racing team support crew deserves huge kudos for sticking through to the grueling end. The "True Street" class was treated like the proverbial red-headed step-child but you couldn't shake the resolve of Sharon(Trixie), Mike(BeerDog), Joe(BadSax) and the ever elusive Mark(M_Darrah).

Joe got to ride shotgun during the "30 Mile Cruise" before the competition - likely the highlight of the day. If there were a LOD Pit Crew Award, he would have won it hands down. Thanks again Joe! ;)
 
I am SOOOO tired! It was a great weekend though. So sorry you didn't win JP, but the truck really brought home the awards, huh?

Hope you have a safe drive home. :)

And yes Chris, we'll do more stuff around here and look forward to you attending.
 
Ok, Just got back home... :)

Had a wonderful time, it was so great to see everyone again, and Sharon and Mike and the kid, (and Mark who's couch I passed out on) thanks for your hospitality.

So many great stories, and I swear I'll post those vids...

JP, we're lucky there was no such award, or we would most likely still be at the track :)

We arrived home safe and sound although extremely tired. It was good to get back to work and rest. :D

This was by far one of the best vacations ever. :)
