FS: Former Pullied- Supercharged 97 [SOLD]

I spun a few cops' heads with my Vermont license and its Massachusetts address. The fact of the matter was that I used my ex-gf's place as a permanent residence in Vermont, and used my mom's place in Massachusetts as a mailing address as I was going back to school. So of course the mailing address is what gets printed. I would get asked "How can you have a Mass address on a Vermont license?" "Easy, fill out the form and they give you the license."

J, are you gonna fly to Boston and drive it back to CA? Maryland isn't too far out of your way........

Maybe I could drive it to your place and we can road trip it together in your 5th wheel?!

Give in to peer pressure!

Lol!

This car won't run without the tune. There is no stock program in the chip since there is not much stock anything in that car ;)

Add cats (easy), know the right guy (easy for you), and it will pass smog easy. There is no wiring changes from the OBD II stand point, so other than lack of EGR, AIR and cats it's passable. lol.

The main thing I was thinking is that it would be cool to get it to pass the SMOG referee legitimately so I would be 100% legal but it sounds like its not possible. :) You can't have anything "adjustable" on the engine. Thanks for the info though!

Peer pressure, peer pressure!! Get it! (Just register it some place else.)

Haha I totally thought about that too...just leaving the plates on it and register it at his house.

Esp with a driver's license from MA and a car registered in another state!

Why not just claim you live in both states?

I've lived in Mass, NH, and NY, and I never bothered changing anything from my Mass address.

:D -J

Actually...you cannot have two driver's licenses from different states. If you apply somewhere else you have to surrender your other one. Its not uncommon to drive a car with out of state plates and have a CA driver's license.

Well...we've officially hi-jacked your thread Eric.

Oh, I never changed the reg or license, I just lived in other places... :D

the only reason I would consider a NY tag is if the plate TENORSAX becomes available again... :D

I like my Mass tags... I like being immediately identifiable as someone you should stay away from on the road... :D

Just buy the car and Eric will certainly forgive us all. :D

Yes, I'm very pissed about the thread hi-jack. You have to buy it now J........

Not enough places I'm sure. I have it up on auto trader, although I'm not expecting much from that. I had put it on a few forums like tccoa, and some local forums I'm a part of. I'm just not reaching the right people I think. I'm going to put it on the road this summer and take it to some of the larger local car shows with a for sale sign. It just might peak the interest of the right person, not necessarily a mark viii fan.
