iGuns with super high resolution targeting screens that shoot bolts of electricity faster then bullets, but they don't wound people, they incapacitate people by tickling them until they pass out...

they will also hold all of your music and photos :D

I went to Apple store today with my 12 year old to get it. They didnt have any 16gb left, so after thinking about it some, we decided to get the 32, they wouldn't take cash. The same dork who stood there watching him count his cash, didn't think 20 min later to tell us that. I hate that store.
 
what would not take cash what the heck is this country coming too. Cash should be the thing that they would be be begging to take.

Why in the hell wouldn't they take cash? They like giving 3% or more of the sale price to the CC companies??
 
yea, they said we take cash but just not for the ipad, I said, why? they said its a policy, I said let me see it, they couldn't do that then I said why is it the policy, they said, I don'[t know it just is. We will buy it from bestbuy IF we buy it now.

But I do like the hand held iPhone CC scanners they have... you never have to wait in line, just stop someone in red and have them ring up your sale... they e-mail you the receipt.

Anyway, BB may have a seperate from Apple replacement plan where should you run it over with your car, or drop it in the bathtub, they will give you a new one... might be worth checking out... :D

It probably has to do with the amount of cash in the store maybe? How much are these things?
 
I wonder if they know that not accepting cash is not just stupid, but illegal. You know how each bill says "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private." ? They don't just put that on there for kicks...

It's not illegal at all. Also you're not interpreting the phrase correctly, it's simply saying the note CAN be used and is legal to use and is valid for debts (payments.) It does not say that one MUST accept cash only that the cash is a legal tender. For that matter credit cards and checks are technically legal tender but nobody is forced to accept them.

I did read somewhere the reasons Apple had for this policy but I can't find it anymore. I know they limited the number of iPhones and restricted cash sales because people were buying them and shipping them overseas to be hacked.
