Credit cards and checks are not legal tender, they are a form of promisary note.
 
Well I finally got one from the cash hating nazis, they suddenly enacted a "waiting list" I got on it yesterday and by noon today they emailed me saying it was in. They hold it for 24 hours so I stopped on the way home and got it for him with my DEBIT CARD, I deposited his money, lol. Bestbuy doesn't know wtf they are talking about more than apple.

an ipad is a absolutely worth less.
Tell me of one thing that you can do with it that you that you CANT do with an iPhone.

It's bigger and now he don't need a kindle, lol. It's pretty cool, he wanted a llaptop but preferred this with touch screen
 
I hear you but an ipad isn't a computer or a laptop. It's an overgroun iPod touch.

But either way it's a cool gadget.
 
It's far from useless, there are many people who only use their laptops for surfing, email, social sites, and running a few minor applications. For them the iPad shines and they don't have to spend $1000 on a laptop when they can get an iPad for half that.

For those that want a computer for programming and running databases and doing graphics then just wait a little, the next generation of Mac laptops will be iPad like computers that can run all Mac software.
 
Ok...another Officer had one of these at the office yesterday....they are HUGE! I don't know what I was thinking, but I wasn't thinking it was THAT big! Pretty cool though....may have to buy Cat one because, unlike me, she actually reads, haha. Let me know when they are actually a deal though. Suposedly they are too expensive right now?

It's apple, you're not going to see much price drop anytime soon. That's why their stocks have tripled since like march of 09.
 
The only time you'll see an Apple price drop is when an item is being discontinued in favor of a new version. Witness the iPhone pricing at the moment.
