I was in a car club here in Lincoln years ago and set up a buy of jackets from Sears, and logos from a local company. That way we had control of it all.
Yes, that is the original logo of some of the stuff that I have...
does anyone have that as a jpg or pdf file?
BTW Mike, your big ass trophy's are blocking the logo on your jacket...
Just because I think it's worth asking, how do we feel about possibly updated logos?
A friend of mine threw these together last night because she was sick at home and bored... Anyway, it's similar to the original...
Well, she's a professional, I'm sure she can make the "l" not curve at the bottom...
this is this artwork in my biz cards... it originally was a picture of my sax next to a brick wall, and the my friend got a hold of it...
that is just a few clicks in photoshop :fart
Keep in mind some shops may have an issue with reproducing any protected trade marks including the Lincoln star, any brand name and font without paying royalties or licensing fees. The club logo we used years ago was approved by Ford for a non-profit car club use. I know people get away with it every day, but just something to keep in mind.
I'm pretty sure it was a little more complicated then that...
Anyway, as far as I am concerned, we have rights to the Lincoln Star.
Do we have that in writing somewhere?
Well if you think applying a filter is complicated

We had rights to use the star as it was in the clubs logo.
This logo, like our banners...
So do we not have the right to use the start for this logo?
yes, yes... "star"...
Anyway, that was what I thought also, that as long as we had the club name, we had the right to use the Lincoln Star...
Anyway, I'm not real worried about having a copyright issue, but it's good to know where we stand.

Please submit any designs to us for approval first to save any trouble. Thank you!
So the original place we had stuff made is going to do an archive search for our patterns...
So, they were only able to find one pattern...
The one that is similar to our banner they can't find.
But I did get a copy of the one they have.
